Estamos aqui!

Psalms 95:1-7

"Come let us sing for joy to the Lord, let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In His hand are the depths of the Earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His for He made it and His hands formed the dry land. Come let us bow down and worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care."

Welcome to our Blog for our trip to Mexico! We cant even express how much the Lord has already begun to bless this trip for us. Thank you for all your prayers for safe travel! We started out with a rocky start beginning at LAX airport. We arrived with all 6 pieces of our luggage to the xray station only to discover that nobody else had any of their luggage... So we sprinted back to the check in with all of our luggage and the Mexicana airline attendant just told us to put it behind some sketchy wall... We quickly caught on to the laid back lifestyle of the Mexican culture! We got on the airplane and quickly passed out from exhaustion for the whole flight :) We got into Mexico City at like 7 am mexico time and had a quick layover until our connecting flight. At this point, we are sticking out like sore thumbs and stuck with all the rest of the Americans at the airport. We arrived at Villahermosa with a warm (literally) welcome from our host family. The city is very beautiful, very green! Its really humid and hot but we are having fun with low maintenance care. We got a good opportunity to fellowship and eat lunch with our family here and get to know them better. They are awesome. We went to the church at night for service and attempted to understand as much as possible! We are praying to quickly get past that stage of frustration of learning a new language! Our family is very patient with us :)
Thanks for all the prayers
Dios te Bendiga!
